The following pictures depict the tragedy of a Lebanese boy (Ali) and his mother (Monteha) during the August 2006 Israeli aggression and crimes against Lebanon. According to Ali and Red Cross rescue workers, the Israeli strike hit their civilian vehicle (Van) and cut it in half. Ali's Uncle and another family member were killed. In addition, several members of his family were wounded severely, including his mom, Monteha. "take care of your brothers and sisters, I am dying," this Lebanese mother told her wounded son, Ali.

The mother surrenders to her fate. Ali is shocked, as this young boy believes his mother has passed away...

The last moments! We don't know what Ali was thinking about! For sure was the return of his mother's soul. We are pleased to report that Ali's mother survived this strike and now recovering at a Beirut Hospital.
